How soon should I expect to hear from the counselor?

  • During the week, I will be reaching out between 24 to 48 hours. Not available for contact during the weekends. If this is an emergency, please call 911.

What should I expect sessions to feel like?

  • My priority in session is to create a safe space for client vulnerability and openness. My goal is to guide clients in identifying their treatment needs and help them reach their goals through their unique needs. I value diversity, equity, and inclusion within my sessions which means that clients’ lens and perspective is valued in session.

Does Mossy Meadows MHC, LLC take insurance?

  • Currently self-pay is the only available method of payment. Superbills can be provided for insurance companies; this does not guarantee reimbursement. Please check with your individual insurance providers for reimbursement needs and questions.

What happens after the 15-minute consultation?

  • I will always be honest and upfront with a client if there is a clinical issue outside of my scope of practice or if the match would be better suited for another provider. If the client will continue with the practice, I will provide instructions on your next steps through email.

Is there an attendance policy?

  • I will always be understanding and flexible with attendance based on extenuating circumstances. The general attendance policy is, if there is a session in the calendar, each client is expected to attend unless otherwise stated. If there is a cancellation under 24 hour notice, there will be a fee of $75. If a client “no call /no shows” the session, a fee of $75 will be charged. Communication is most important, but this policy stands unless otherwise discussed.

Will sessions ever be in-person?

  • This practice will stay virtual for the foreseeable future.
